3 Gifts
It is assumed there were 3 wisemen because 3 gifts were presented to Jesus, but the Bible does not say how many there were. Some claim to know their names, but that is also not in the Bible. Most likely there were several wisemen as long journeys were generally done in large caravans because they were dangerous.
