650 Prayers

Friend, if you’ve ever wondered whether your prayers matter—let me assure you, they do. There are 650 prayers in the Bible. That’s 650 prayers in the Bible when someone cried out, worshiped, confessed, or simply poured their heart out to God. These weren’t perfect people. They were broken, searching, hopeful, hurting… just like us.

What struck me most wasn’t how many prayers there were, but how each one mattered. God didn’t just listen—He responded. He comforted Hannah in her grief, met David in his praise and repentance, and strengthened Jesus in the garden. Over and over, God leaned in close.

Even Jesus—God in flesh—prayed. The Bible records 41 times where He talked to the Father. If Jesus needed those moments of connection, how much more do we?

Prayer isn’t about having the right words. It’s about coming honestly. Some prayers are whispered through tears. Others are shouted in desperation. All of them are welcome.

If you’re not sure where to begin, I’d love to help. You can visit Praying God’s Word With You or Prayer Prompts for Busy Moms—they’re filled with Scripture-based prayers for whatever season you’re in.

Your voice matters to God. Keep praying, friend. He’s listening.

With love,
Katie
