Acts 16:31
I was not raised in a Christian home. It wasn’t until my dad was diagnosed with cancer that I learned he believed there was a God. I was blessed to point him to Christ during his sickness and not only see him accept the gift of salvation but also be baptized. I have no doubt I will be spending eternity with him.
After his death, my family went on a journey searching for answers. In their own ways and their own times, each one has now discovered the truth. They know the love of God, they have felt the Holy Spirit, and they have surrendered their lives to follow Jesus Christ. It reminds me of the promise in Jeremiah which says we will find Him when we seek Him with all of our hearts.

I had the incredible honor of helping baptize my mom, stepdad, brother, and sister-in-law this week. It was so amazing and filled my heart with such joy! Years of prayer were finally answered.
If you have a family member still seeking – never stop praying, never stop pointing them in the right direction, and never stop believing that God desires to draw them to Him.
Acts 16:31 says, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” This does not mean that you can accept Jesus for your family, as each person will have to respond in faith to the gift offered to them, but it does mean you are a spiritual influence on your family and God desires to use you to reach them. Pray today and ask Him how you can help lead them to the truth! You never know…you just might be helping baptize them one day!
