The book of Haggai is the 10th book of the minor prophets. The other 9 were written during the time of the kings that ruled over the divided kingdom. Between the last book and this one, Babylon conquered the southern kingdom of Judah, carried the Jews into exile, and destroyed Jerusalem and the temple.
