Jesus is Working

Matthew desperately wanted the Jewish people to know that Jesus was the Messiah, but he also needed to convey that He looked a little different than what they had expected.The Jewish people read the Scriptures and believed the Messiah would come as a royal king with his large army to overthrow the government, deliver them from their oppressors, and save their nation.

Jesus did those things – but not in the way they thought He would. His plan was far superior, but they looked at their current circumstances and had trouble seeing that truth.Jesus is working in your life too.

He is doing incredible things…but He might not be doing them the way you expect.Set aside the doubts you have because of what you are going through and trust that His plan is so much better than you could even imagine.
