Lord, Fill Me Up
Have you ever prayed “Lord, fill me with your Spirit”? I have many times.
Here’s the thing…when you are already full with the things of this world, there is no room for the Holy Spirit. You have to first be emptied.
When you let go of the things of this world, everything changes.
Try praying this instead: “Lord, take away my desires for anything but you – empty me of this world, remove anything that doesn’t bring you glory, and fill me completely with your Spirit”.
