You’re a Martha

You’re driven, dependable, and wired to get things done — just like Martha.

You notice what needs to be done and step in without being asked. You carry responsibility well, and people trust you because you follow through.

But sometimes, that strength can turn into pressure. You can feel like everything depends on you — and it’s hard to slow down, even when your soul needs it.

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one.” — Luke 10:41–42

Where this shows up in your life…

You may find yourself constantly moving, solving, fixing, and carrying things for others.

You might feel responsible for everything—and when you try to slow down, it feels uncomfortable or even unproductive.

Deep down, you may be tired… but unsure how to actually rest.

What Jesus is Inviting You to

Jesus didn’t correct Martha for serving — He invited her to something deeper.

Not less responsibility… but more presence.
Not more striving… but more peace.

You don’t have to carry everything.
You’re allowed to pause, breathe, and sit with Him too.

Start here when you feel overwhelmed

You don’t have to figure this out on your own.
This simple prayer guide will help you slow down, quiet your mind, and learn how to sit with God—one step at a time.
