You’re a Martha!
What does that mean?
You hold facts over feelings, which helps you keep your cool. Marthas tend to be logical, rushed, organized, impatient, detailed, straightforward, and goal-oriented. Your servant heart is a blessing to all who know you.
You get things done, but sometimes that is at the expense of living in the moment and finding rest.
“Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” John 11;21
Strengths
You’re very organized. Everything has its place.
You’re great at keeping your head in stressful situations.
You are constantly searching for solutions.
Weaknesses
You struggle to stop and rest. This can lead to exhaustion and burnout.
You have a difficult time listening to other people’s problems.
Sometimes, you may come across as harsh or uncaring.
So, what can you do next?
As a Martha, you may find yourself more comfortable being active rather than sitting still and praying. Maybe you can take some time to focus on learning to pray the Scriptures and spend time sitting in His presence.
