No Condemnation – Romans 8:1-2

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.”Romans 8:1–2

No condemnation. Not some. Not less than before. None. If you are in Christ, the shame, guilt, and weight of your past no longer have a claim on you.

But how many of us still live as if they do?

I’ve walked with women who know the truth of the Gospel in their heads, but their hearts are buried in shame. I’ve seen it in recovery circles, in quiet prayer moments, and even in the mirror. The enemy whispers, “You’re too far gone.” “You should’ve known better.” “God may forgive, but people won’t.” But friend, let me tell you: that’s not the voice of your Father. That’s the voice of condemnation. And Romans 8 says that voice has been silenced by the cross.

In You Are Loved, I talk with men and women who understand that freedom that comes when we truly believe that God doesn’t just tolerate us—He loves us. Right here. Right now. Not once we clean ourselves up. Not once we fix the mess. He loves us because we’re His.

Jesus didn’t come to shame you. He came to set you free.

If you’ve been carrying the weight of your past, I want you to hear this: You are not your mistakes. You are not your addiction. You are not what was done to you. In Christ, you are free. You are loved. And there is no condemnation hanging over your head anymore.

So walk in that freedom. And if you need help remembering, these words are for you.

“Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.” Romans 8:1-2
