What Voice are you Listening to?
Earlier this year I had someone speak something negative over my life. Ever since then I have been dealing with some fear. Mostly fear related to sharing what I believe and concerns about what people would think about those beliefs. I chose to let those evil words penetrate my mind and affect my life. Well, that ends now.
I have been doing a lot of studying on the Holy Spirit and how to know the difference between God’s voice and the enemy’s. I cannot wait to share more with you but here are a few key things I want you to know…
- The enemy’s voice loudly condemns, accuses, discourages, confuses, lies, creates chaos, brings bondage, and attacks our emotions.
- God’s voice gently comforts, convicts, encourages, loves, teaches, creates peace, brings freedom, stirs our spirits, and can be tested against His Word.
Whose voice are you listening to? If you don’t know, pray and ask God for wisdom.
If it is the enemy’s, you don’t have to keep listening! Speak God’s Word out loud, resist the thoughts, and fill your mind with things from above.
