S3 EP16 Karole Atkins
This is our Season Finale and possibly the most powerful story yet! Karole and her husband adopted a precious little boy, who they loved dearly. He dealt with a lot of trauma and fear as a child, which caused him to make some bad decisions as a teenager. He broke the law and was tried as an adult despite his young age. Just one month before his release from prison, he was brutally murdered.
There is no pain in this world like the loss of a child. This shocking event sent Karole into a dark place where nightmares tormented her. She was stuck trying to understand why God allowed this to happen, and she didn’t know how she could ever find forgiveness for the man who did this. You have to watch her story!

Abandonment and abuse as a child caused Ani to harbor a lot of anger. She desperately wanted a loving family, not the dysfunctional one she was given. She decided to run as far away as she could. Ani lied to try to get out of her country to come to America, hoping for a fresh start. She should have been rejected, but the Lord did a shocking miracle instead. You have to hear what happened!

When Ben was a child, it was prophesied that he would be a pastor. He enveloped that calling, dreamed about it, and planned for it. But then the church began to disappoint him, and he blamed God instead of people. He knew he was supposed to be a pastor, but because of the pain, he ran from that calling. When Ben no longer had the thrill of seeking God, he began looking for other things to satisfy that need.
S3 EP13 Willie Leonard
Willie began using prescription drugs in 8th grade, and before long, he was using whatever he could get his hands on to chase that high. This led to him going to jail several times. One day, right before court, he contacted a drug rehabilitation program, not because he really wanted to fix his life but because he really wanted to stay out of jail. Through a supernatural turn of events, he was accepted into the program. He walked in on Friday, got saved on Sunday, and was set free on Monday. You have to hear this incredible story!

When Faye’s mom passed away, everything inside of her burst open. All the lies, abuse, brokenness, and insecurities that she had tried so hard to push down began to surface. She started having suicidal thoughts and realized she needed help processing the trauma from her past. Watch to see where she went for help and how she was able to overcome.

Join us for this special edition of You Are Loved featuring Joshua Nick Sergent, widely known as Holy Beardz. He was a broken, addicted atheist who had just attempted to end his life for the 3rd time when he had a radical encounter with the Lord. Today, he is 23 years clean and on fire for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. His testimony is amazing, and the Lord is using him to touch lives worldwide through his massive social media influence. You have to hear his story!

Drugs had been a part of Jacob’s life since he was a young teenager. When both of his brothers passed away from overdoses within just a few months of each other, Jacob wanted to give up the drugs. He couldn’t, so he decided instead to take his own life. For 30 days straight, he intentionally overdosed, but no matter how hard he tried, he kept waking up the next day. God clearly had a plan for Jacob’s life! Watch to see where he is today.

Jessi graduated with her Master’s Degree in counseling and had an amazing career at a local school. She was living the dream until one day, everything around her began to crumble. Her fears took over, and she turned to drugs to get through. Before long, she found herself sneaking contraband into jail and then ended up there herself. Jessi went from never being in trouble to being a convicted felon. Watch to see how God used her mistakes to change lives.

Tim’s childhood was filled with drug use, abuse, and chaos, which caused him to make some painful choices. He was given labels by the world that shaped his reality. Labels like victim, addict, gang member, and convict. He held onto those because he didn’t know his true identity. These lies made him go deeper into drugs and crime, which led to him spending 15 years in prison. His life was a mess and spiraling downward until one day he discovered who he was called to be.
