BC AD
The concept of B.C. and A.D. can be very confusing. Many people believe A.D. stands for “after death” and started either the year Jesus was born or the first year after His death. B. C. stands for “Before Christ” and A.D. stands for “Annon Domini” which means “in the year of the Lord”. Based on historical facts, most theologians believe Jesus was probably born between 6 B.C. and 4 B.C.
