Jeremiah is a difficult book to read because you can feel the pain and grief he was experiencing as the people he loved faced the judgment he spent so many years warning them about. Despite all the painful emotions in this book, it surprisingly is also filled with glimmers of hope.
Isaiah lived during a time of political turmoil. His book is filled with incredible details of destruction and judgment, but also hopeful expectation of God’s future deliverance.
