Many new believers get handed a Bible and are told to read it…but the Bible is a big book! Where do you even start? It can be easy to get overwhelmed by the size and scope of the Bible. That said, reading the Bible isn’t about immediately understanding all the stories; it’s about uncovering the heart of God. You are not behind or in a race against your neighbor to learn the most about Jesus. This is a process!

• You can join our FREE Coming To Life course that will walk you through the ENTIRE Bible, start to finish, and help you understand God’s big story.
• Start a YouVersion Bible app reading plan. One of our recent plans is “And God Said” which is all about times in Scripture where God spoke directly to people.
• Take our “Start Reading the Bible” quiz to find out which book in the Bible is the best fit for you right now. Before you read, pray: “God, help me understand.” You won’t get it all at first. That’s okay. Keep going!

1. Find the question that fits where you are right now: “Who is Jesus?” “Think God could never forgive you?” “Feel lonely or forgotten?” “Struggling with anger?”
2. Each question points you to ONE chapter of the Bible that speaks right to it.
3. Read that one chapter. That’s it. One chapter a day is enough.
