There’s a moment in Brandon Styles’ story where everything changes. After years of addiction, violence, and hopelessness, Brandon cried out, “God, I don’t know if You’re real, but if You are…” It was raw. Desperate. Honest. And that’s where finding faith began.

Brandon didn’t grow up in church. He grew up in chaos. By his teenage years, both of his parents were in prison. He lived in a trap house, missed school, and started selling drugs just to survive. Addiction became a lifestyle—until he found himself stabbed, run over, and completely lost. And yet, God met him there.

That encounter sparked something: a desire for a better life. Brandon began searching—first for understanding, then for healing. Through recovery programs and what he now knows was divine intervention, Brandon slowly began to rebuild. His path wasn’t easy. There were setbacks. But every time, he got back up.

Today, Brandon is four years clean and works as a CPRS supervisor and regional overdose prevention specialist. He spends his days helping others who feel like they’re too far gone. “It all started with hope,” he says. “That hope turned into strength. And strength helped me create the life I never thought I’d have.”
